Women enslaved as “comfort women” under Japanese government orders during World War II who are now testifying before congress their experience of sexual slavery.
“If they were virgins when they were kidnapped, they were raped first by officers. After they’d been gang-raped over months and years, or were injured, or developed sexually transmitted diseases, they were not viewed as quite so valuable to the soldiers who raped them. If they became pregnant, they were given primitive abortions, which often killed them. By day, they washed the soldiers’ clothes, cleaned their quarters, and did heavy labor. By night they were raped and brutalized by 20, 30 or more men. Approximately 200,000 women in all were made to be sex slaves”
Just go and read Heart’s article - I don’t have a lot more to say really.
These women have been trying to get justice for years - since the war (yeah, you count). Not only were they raped by their own side, the allies took over when japan was defeated - it proves yet again that in war, all men are the enemy for women. This is why I don’t have political allegiances either cuz they are all reinforcing a male-defined world. Japan is one of the most porn-extreme countries in the world now, the sexual abuse of women in public places is a big part of their culture, and the country is embarrassed by these women, hoping that eventually, they will all just go away by dying off - yeah, that’ll make the real problem die off won’t it?
Men’s (of all sides) rape of women/girls (of all sides) during war (any war), is always ‘conveniently’ forgotten/hidden.
The women above have been protesting every Wednesday, for 14 years in order that their sexual enslavement during WW2 gets official recognition.
They were all effectively gang-raped, for months/years, by men of all sides, but the enslavement came from the Japanese. (The ‘liberating’ Americans were hardly the pinnacle of ‘niceness’ either.) Women/girls are always on the losing side in war zones, it doesn’t matter ‘whose’ side they are on.
Rape in ‘peace time’ continues to spiral out of control, and nor does that get acknowledged by the general public/media.
I recall when in Canada, the first group of women to attend the Remembrance Day civic ceremonies and bring signs about raped and tortured women were booed and called names. By the veterans! We must not we must not we must not, pretend we are human.
Because remembrance is all about the male *heroes*?

Yes, they were interviewed about it and several pointed to the (very few) women in uniform as women whom they respected and felt deserved to be there. So Remembrance Day has become remember only the men’s glory, not the damage they do. Ahh also there were responses of “It was a war what do you expect. Terrible things happen in a war”. The vets, whose suffering I acknowledge, Canucks and Aussies were sent to slaughter in the areas the Americans would not go, just use this day now to get drunk and revel in their days of glory. Presumably also when the women who weren’t throwing themselves at them for a bit o ham or other food, could just be raped and used as fuckholes in the name of democracy. Or Der Fuerher. Or whatever.

Protesting for 14 years?! The men in power really have no shame. And it makes no sense, because this is the type of situation that lets them off the hook. They recognize and apologize for “past atrocities” without having to admit what criminals they currently are.
What these women suffered is so terrible, there’s no excuse for not recognizing it. Pukepus beings.
For once there is little I can add to this continuing atrocity against all women. Yes it is against all women because although not all women were callously and systematically sexually abused by men, yet many men of differing ethnicites and nationalities still believe that a large number of women and girls must always be made available in order to service men and their puny penises.
Of course in this year of the anniversary of Abolition of Slavery it is even more ironic that the sufferings of these women is still going largely unnoticed by the media. Abolition of slavery - for whom - women - I do not think so.
As Pony so rightly said we must never forget that being human does not apply to women - only to men. Of course certain women can gain the honourary title of ‘human’ but it is always conditional upon male approval and it is men who still hold the power.
If you can believe it, a female politician in Holland advocated that it would be beneficial for prostitutes to be sent abroad for ‘extra benefits’ to ‘help the troops relax’ Now I would have found this a terrifying suggestion from anyone but from a woman politician? Well there you go!

I wonder if this woman politican will volunteer to go and sexually service the ‘desperate male soldiers.’ As an aside many soldiers are female so are men and boys going to be sent as well in order to help the female soldiers ‘relax?’ This woman has obviously achieved the honourary title of ‘human’ by male standards!

I like Holland and I’ve been a few times - but their sexual politics are weird. The infamous Red Light District attracts the most extreme odd balls ever known to humanity - honestly creepy as fuck! It kind of illustrates the WHY menz ‘NEED to have sex with a woman’. It’s nothing about orgasms, endorphins, etc. They cannot even argue that it is some (indefinable) ‘need’ to have vaginal penetration, because of the huge popularity of anal intercourse (just ask prostituted women how popular it now is). And whilst I’m in the area of anal intercourse, men have them (anuses), and in male-dominated troop areas there are lots of potential sexual partners out there (if the ‘need’ for penetrative sex is so great).
I just love the modern double standard of; anal sex with a woman = okey dokey I’m a red-blooded male; whereas anal sex with a man = ewww how ‘gay’.
And how is the payment scheme for Dutch prostituted women going to work anyway? Do they get a relocation fee paid for by the government? Are the government subsidising the transactions, or indeed, offering a waged system for these women? Or are they perhaps just treating them as expendable objects for the consumption of men???
It’s all about the ‘perks of war’ for menz. Unlimited sexual ’servicing’ by females (of any age, inclusive of girls and teens), and if not governmentally facilitated, they just run around on their own and take what they want from local women and girls. And let’s not forget killing off their entire families to leave no witnesses either. *nice boyz*

No, do not expect men to be accountable and acknowledge that their gender committed mass rape - do not let that detract from their almighty cock-driven war glory. It’s such an inconvenient embarrassment.
