Following in the recent tradition it would seem that Mad Sheila Musings blog is now used as a porn site.
Caution!
When I opened up the blog, I received a stream of windows that could not be shut down. I then received a message that something was trying to access my machine—Aghh Security Alert nee norr boxs springing up —-Help!
Ha! My trusty anti-virus stepped in and blocked the access!
Honestly, what is all of this about? Oh and before Symantec stepped in to save my machine from some unknown infestation I did notice a picture of a young woman with two men – smiling and proudly sporting a T-shirt with “I’ve just been Gang Banged” on the front.
Maybe they should team up with Gary Glitter *spit*

I had a something similar happen with one of my old blogs. I shut it down due to an overabundance of trolls and a desire to switch directions so to speak. It was taken over by a porn directory with the search term “forced girl undressed” or something in the keyword box on the site within about two days, I believe.
Btw, the new template is wonderful.
Yeah Faith it seems the norm now. When I clicked the back button it tried to put something onto my machine??
Thanks re the template – it’s a nice and relaxed pic
When hit with these malevolent pop-ups, either try to close them by rightclicking close from the taskbar at the bottom of the screen (although not all will make a new task at the bottom) or, more reliably, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the Task Manager, and close the entire web browser from there (the Applications tab is easier to find the programme).
Trying to close those things in rapid succession will just send you into a tailspin.
I cannot believe it is yet another one—and a Blogger one as well—I happened to randomly check it over the weekend myself and the site was still up. (Not going to check again until I post this comment)
Any rad still on Blogger should defect to WP in protest ! But don’t ever select “delete this blog” lest it become pornified overnight.
It’s radfem blog rape.
Thanks stormy – I was in so much of a hurry I forgot about CTRL+ALT+DEL. Aghh there were Norton security warnings and other warnings? (not seen before) all over the flipping place! I didn’t even click on anything on the site just the back button ffs – bloody menace!
Argh thanks for the warning!!!
I still cannot get over how quickly it was pornified after deletion, as I said, it was only a day or two that I visited it.
I thought I’d check on the pop-up situation that you reported Sparks, but no pop-ups/problems (other than wall-to-wall pornification on a static page). I recommend downloading the Google toolbar, and use the pop-up blocker — works a treat!
stormy – i have the yahoo one but i’ve now turned it up to high.
If you are using IE, disable the pop-up blocker there, it’s useless.
(under the Tools menu)
Stormy – when I have it on ‘high’ it stops me from clicking on links in emails?
so I have to keep it on medium.
Dump the Yahoo one, get yourself the FREE Google one!
I’ve never noted any problems with email addys.
I believe that it’s no accident nor coincidence that URLs of former radfem blogs are snatched (pun not intended) up by pornographers as soon as they’re up for grabs. Dammit! You’re going to look at porn, each and every one of you radfemmers! Even if you’ve got to be tricked into doing so, you’re going to look at porn, you and those few other pornsturbator holdouts. When everyone in the world has looked at porn and almost all of the people are addicted, pornographers will rule the world! (…or at least be damned wealthy and powerful.)
Yes, I noticed this a few days ago, though I wasn’t barraged with viruses and spyware. I think it changes. I changed the link to the firefox homepage but kept her name up.
I didn’t even know she had deleted her blog – One week it was there, next week, I find a porn site. Did she give a reason for leaving?
CoolAunt – and yeah we are gong to infect your computer while we make you look at porn – ffs do they think we have never seen it or something?
Mwezzi – I think closing her blog is just part of her journey, I’m not sure of any specifics.
