I love anti-bigotry blogs that think schizophrenia is the height of hilarity. Yeah, continue with your ignorant ableism, and assume men are the only ones with pathetic minds–interestingly, the only pathetic minds I can see in this scenario.
To be honest K.A. I did not know that people living with schizophrenia experienced visual hallucinations. I believed that the condition produced mainly disorganised thinking, auditory hallucinations, and delusions.
My father was diagnosed as “ schizophrenic” way back in the 60s.
Moreover K.A. you know nothing of my mental health status…
I thought this image had nothing at all to do with mental health and everything to do with feminism. I think K.A.’s out on a bit of a limb here.
Isn’t this how we live? I see/experience something, I talk about it, I’m told it isn’t there/didn’t happen. And when your whole community informs you (for example) that the sky is orange with purple polka dots, then the fact that your own eyes tell you it’s cerulean is no longer worthy evidence.
Of course, I’ve been told several times over that lack of sleep *does* produce visual hallucinations but I’ve never experienced any myself (although other farmers have described them, they sound like fun
I assumed they were ghosts or spectres (A la “the turn of the screw”). Largely because I’ve never heard of schizophrenia And many things cause visual hallucinations - class A drugs for instance. Are you male KA?
Sorry that got published before I finished typing. Should read “schizophrenia causing visual hallucinations either” - not to say it doesn’t. But many other conditions do cause visual hallucinations. Temporal lobe epilepsy for instance. But I’ve never heard of a cat with either.
Yup folks this image was interpreted by me to suggest the ghostly spectres women are forced to deny due to our innate “hysterical” dispositions.
Perhaps someone (maybe wafted in from the controversy circulating at the moment) who sniffs ‘radical’ - becomes extremely twitchy about men’s rights, assumptions begin to pile up, and as opportunities for exposing the real reasons for the hostility are not apparent finds solace in flinging around the words ’bigot’ and ’ignorant ableism’
Shame they missed out “right-wing” and the Smith’s are Emo tho’
The Smiths are Emo being the very worse of course……nope this is a straw argument K.A. Like my - biphobia, woman hating, transphobia, Thatcher voting - and the rest.
“This is now our place and we will not run from here,” said Nasara Lekutas, as the women sat in the shade of a wide acacia tree quietly nodding their determined agreement.
Cute black kitty!
Who’s “dem”? the dolls?
Ahh so you see dem too…
I duz, I duz see dem.
I see dem.
Does that mean I is insane too?
One has orange hair - is it by chance a protestant Thatcherite Monarchist who likes Emo?
It’s the Thatcherism bit that I can’t cope with - It’s a new weapon against feminists.
Actually I think puss looks teh bit Emo?
I shall fight back with the simple sword of truth and the trusty British shield of fair play.
Sorry that should be “trusty shield of British fair play”. I just googled it.
Ah yes grasshopper - google is your friend…

The dolls in the picture are actually straw dolls - Mork and Mindy whom I will now beat up with big imaginary sticks.
There! That taught them a lesson.
You sound almost as angry, sorry deeply, deeply hurt because you are a woman, and laydeez don’t do anger, as I am today sparks….
I have just beaten up my straw director at work with a health and safety stick. That feels better.
Oh and is there a controversy circulating at the moment, and if so which one? - cos I’ve lost count
Hmm - Witchy’s had a couple.
*thwak* thwak*
I continue to beat the living ectoplasm out of the straw dolls - for today I am the angry Viking.

Don’t mind me I’m supposed to be studying something about economics.
It’ll do that to you sparks. Try a drink with some Amy. BTW ‘Witchy’s had a couple’ could be read two ways of course.

Ya, she’s a bit cool like and I’ve just poured a glass. I’m on a composting course tomorrow so that’ll get me grounded…
Don’t anyone (lurkers) dare take what I said about Witchy out of context.
